Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MARELKEYS LTD collects and uses personal information when you visit marelkeys.com, create an account, place an order, subscribe to email updates or contact support.

Controller and contact details

MARELKEYS LTD is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. Company number: 16831368. Registered office: 24-26 Arcadia Avenue, Fin009, London, United Kingdom, N3 2JU. Email: support@marelkeys.com. Phone: +44 7848 112802.

Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details such as name, email, phone number and billing address
  • Order, product, licence-delivery, refund and support records
  • Payment status and transaction references; payment providers process full card or payment credentials
  • Customer-account details and preferences
  • Device, browser, IP address, referral, page, cart and purchase-event information collected through Shopify technologies and the configured custom web pixel, subject to applicable consent rules
  • Messages, error screenshots and other information you choose to send to support

Why we use information

  • Contract: to accept payment, fulfil digital orders, provide activation support, manage accounts and handle refunds
  • Legal obligations: for tax, accounting, consumer-protection, fraud-prevention and regulatory requirements
  • Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the store, prevent abuse, diagnose problems and keep appropriate business records, where those interests are not overridden by your rights
  • Consent: for optional marketing or non-essential tracking where consent is required; consent can be withdrawn

Who receives information

Information is shared only as needed with Shopify, payment providers offered at checkout, hosting and technical providers, communications and support tools, fraud-prevention services, professional advisers and public authorities where legally required. Shopify Messaging and AutoDS are installed on the store; any use of those services must be limited to the data needed for their enabled store function. A Shopify custom web pixel is also present and should operate in accordance with the customer-privacy settings and consent requirements.

We do not list Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta Pixel as active app integrations because they were not identified in the installed-app audit.

Cookies and similar technologies

Shopify uses essential technologies for the storefront, cart, checkout, accounts, security and localization. Analytics or marketing technologies are subject to applicable consent choices. See the Cookie Policy for more information.

International transfers

Shopify and other providers may process information outside the UK or EEA. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for fulfilment, support, fraud prevention, legal claims, tax and accounting obligations. Retention periods vary with the record and legal requirement. We then delete, anonymise or restrict it where appropriate.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent and complain to a regulator. These rights can be limited by law. Contact us using the details above; we may need to verify identity. UK customers may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. EEA customers may contact their local supervisory authority.

Marketing

Marketing emails are optional. You can unsubscribe using the link in the message. We may still send transactional order, account, security or support communications.

Children

The store is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child who cannot lawfully consent or contract for the service.

Security

We use Shopify and proportionate organisational safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or complete licence keys in an unsecured support message.

Changes

We may update this policy when the store, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated.
